Electric Shavers
Hello
Can anyone recommend an electric shaver? I have always preferred to "wet-shave", but I am quite lazy and only do it every couple of days.
As I have a new job, I should really make an effort and do it every day!
Thanks,
Steve.

Braun, braun or braun, although must be an expensive one. Don't fall for this rotating blades crap as all they do is give you a shave that is fine on the flat bits but rubbish on the angles.

You could also look at the dual shavers wet or dry
I have a Remington wet / dry very good shave when I use it
Did have the rotary style one made my face very sore
Go for the expensive ones they are better

Used to have a Remington triple blade...Worked well at first, but didn't last long, tried new blades and foils, seemed they only last a few months before loosing their "bite"
Had various ones before that too all had pretty much the same problem.
Got a Philishave now, crap side burn trimmer. But so far it's the only shaver that's not worn out on me - as of yet. I think it needs a new set of blades now though...but after over a year I'm not complaining
I may try another Braun (higher spec one this thime) when/if the Philips ever packs in

I used electric shavers for years and 3 years ago bought a Philisshave with the contour blades. I thought it would be better than the fixed head type but i still ended up with a rash on my neck. For the past 5 months ive being wet shaving with a Mach3, I can honestly say its quicker and i dont get a rash. I wont be using an electric shaver again.

I used an electric shaver for a while, though it always left me feeling like i needed a shave afterwards. Use a Mach 3 now, and usually only every other day (that's me being lazy though).

I have a Braun self-cleaning one - about £60 from Comet IIRC. It works as well as any electric shaver I've used and the clean/charge base does all the hard work.
It's one of those gadgets I didn't think I needed until I'd had one for a few weeks and realised how much less hassle it is than one needing a brush out every day.

well, i reckon it will all depend on how hard your hair is.
If you have fine hair with slow growth, you will be ok with electric one.But if you have real hard fast gowing hair, you are better off with Mac3.
Thats what my dad and my ex said anyway.
