ScoobyNet makes my life hell
I've only posted a few times but looking at these scoobys makes me ache even more for mine! Time is running so slow!
Just got to wait for final loan approval and private plates removed from my current car. My first Impreza is waiting for me...but it could be 2 weeks yet. Arrrrrrrrrrgh.
Still, I have achieved my dream to own an Impreza.
And Scoobynet is now my number 1 forum

Any advice on fuel? I was going to try and run Optimax only. What's normal unleaded like for a)performance and b) keeping the thing in good nick

It will run at its best on super unleaded. Optimax is better than other sul in my opinion.
You wont get the same performance running on 95ron as you would with 98ron but it wont do your car any harm, unless its heavily modified.

I'm a complete novice when it comes to cars...in terms of mechanics/ bodywork that is. But I hope to learn lots from being on scooby net and fully intend to mod my pride and joy.
I really could do with buying a house though which might cut down on funds....but I figured I'd have more fun in a scooby
