Hello,
we've got the chance to hire a villa here for the first week of October, what's the weather like there? does anyone have experience of this, or, does anyone have any other places to go, needs to sleep about 5, have its own pool, nice views etc,

Seriously though, expect mid 70's - sometimes higher depending exactly where you are - sometimes some rain but normally only the odd day or so. Coldest time of year is Jan when temperatures drop to.........16 degrees

If you want any tips on where to go etc. around the Nerja area then PM me as my reason for this visit (one of many...) is to house-hunt (i'm packing my bags permanently!)
