I thought I had seen it all
I'm somewhat stunned after reading this
Not sure whether it makes me sad or sick, or both!
Sometimes I wish I could just grab some of these girls and shake some sense into them. Yes, I know there are ususally reasons behind it all.

ok, I'm no expert on the matter, but anyone that can stand in the mirror, look like that picture and still beleive they are overweight need to be taken in and treated for it - against their will if neccessary.
Someone explain anorexia to me, I don't get it, to see a skeleton in a mirror and then envisage a fat bloater in your mind is the stuff magic mushrooms are made of.

Why the confusion, you already hit the nail on the head when you said they needed treatment. It is a psychological problem, clearly. IMHO anyway.

mj - I do and don't get it. I can understand why they think the way they do, but I cannot trully understand why (if that makes sense). Some people you just can't help, and that's a sad fact of life.

The thing that really bugs me is that *you* ( you, me, and all the other non-anorexics ) can't get a visual image of "Belsen" & "Rick Waller" mixed up, they are too far apart, totally different. Where in the make up of an anorexic does this transition from skinny to fat take place?
