Nice restaurant in Wolverhampton needed
I need a decent restaurant to take out my dear mum and I'd welcome any recommendations as I don't live near her any more.
It HAS to be English - she is the fussiest eater I know and the list of things she won't eat is seemingly endless. If anyone ever knew Johnathons in Birmingham, then something like that would be perfect. (But I've heard it's closed.. )
I know I can try Yellow Pages but I'd appreciate some local recommendations if you have any.
Thanks!

Have you tried Blakelands in Bobbington? Seem to remember that being OK. Not quite in Wolves, but is about 8 miles away. Think its English too!

If you are after anything with any class and culture, I’d get as far away from the West Midlands as you can. The place is a complete **** hole, it should be bombed and start again from scratch. And another word of warning the West Midlands probably has the largest population of Chav’s outside of Essex, so be prepared for a barrage of Burberry and Nova’s.
Can you tell i don't like the place
