RAC vehicle inspection
what they like??
the rac are coming out to do an inspection on my car and am wondering just how thorough they are???

Erm, well I had an inspection on a car a few years back, and the RAC said it was basically fine. The brake pads went the day after I brought it, and it was the biggest dog of a car I ever owned. Needing some work doing to it pretty much every week! The brake pad thing should give you some idea of how thorough they are!

dunno about RAC, but quite often they send out a local guy (aa sent a local out to inspect my corrado when I sold it and he gave it a very thorough check) so it can vary. Some will be ultra throrough and some will be lazy. Most will be throrough as they don't want to lose their 'franchise'.

119.00 roughly he said he paid, says he has discount, although the top check they do is near on 190 quid so i think he has paid for the cheaper check
