out of respect dont watch this film.
go and buy a cheap copy of the market, that way it will cost less than the price of a ticket to the flicks, and you can bin it after watching it, "like i did"

Blue thunder looked mean but Airwolf was well hard and would cane blue thunder. 'String Fellow whatever his name...' was much cooler than the other guy as well. Did he ever find his brother?

Interesting fact - he was one of the favourites to play Hooper in Jaws which was eventually played by Richard Dreyfuss.

Airwolf was based on a Bell 222, and of course would easily kick the **** of Blue Thunder as it could do about 1000 mph
I'll get my coat now then............

Cider Boy is right - Blue Thunder was based on a Gazelle with about 200kg of fibreglass panels bolted on. Ironically, though, much of the technology they talked about is now coming onstream, and though 'whisper mode' is a far off dream I have flown stuff which has an acoustic signature of about 1/10 that of a Gazelle...
Airwolf on the other hand was pure and unadulterated tosh.
Blue Thunder gets my vote, here and on the poll

Read alien vs predator in the graphic novel (comic book ) version years ago and it was actually pretty good, but from what I'm hearing the film seems a dud what a shame

damn site better than chronicles of riddoch
not a good film tho - about 2 1/2 *
what made me chuckle was at the beginning when they find the abandoned hole (which would have taken them days to drill) - on one goes:
"hangon that's a bit convienient, perhaps someting slightly dodgey is going on here"
Ending was pants very Alien2 & Predator2 rolled into one.
did anyone think it was short?
