I want to transfer some money to a friend overseas. I've looked at Western Union but what a faff First time users are limited to US$1000 via their phone service and there's a US$5000 cash withdrawal limit for the receiver anyway.
Does anyone know of any other ways?

i had same problem with Euros.
you can buy and sell using euros over here, but try sending a cheque or cash transfer to Holland!
wanted to send £47 in euros was going to cost about £30
ended up just stashing cash in an envelope!

I've used Barclays for money transfer to Holland it cost about £10 to send £2600 in Euros.

all you need is the international a/c number and int. sort code of the bank u wish to transfer to.

Get these numbers from our bank and from the bank of the person your sending money to and bobs yer uncle.

Only works in Europe though.
