Do yourself a favour - spend a bit more and get an IPAQ or similar decent branded kit and TT3 (bluetooth preferbly). I nearly fell into the same trap a few months ago when Aldi where doing a similar deal but was persuaded to go for a Ipaq 2210 and TT3 bluetooth - best investment I can ever recall making....!

There's nothing wrong with the Medion pocket pc / sat nav, i purchased 5 for people on here and had no compliants, and Halfords did a price match so got it for £270, downloaded the speed camera sites on their, also has all the petrol stations, football clubs.

I got an IPAQ 4150 with TT3 and memory card, mount etc for about £420, so not much more, and the software is very good.

But check out www.pocketgpsworld.co.uk - there is another company just launching which looks good. They have IPAQ based kits with GPS and TMC. TMC allows you to pick up traffic reports via RDS radio, and can automatically reroute you if your planned route is blocked/very slow.
