The missus has a big bowl of goldfish, and for some reason most of this evening most of them are sat at the bottom of the bowl on the gravel ..... looking stupid ..... even the ones that aren't sat at the bottom seem to be behaving a little odd, kind like pointing downwards and not moving much.

We've changed half the water in the tank, but it's made no difference.

Should I do something, or just carry on as we are (pointing at them and pulling stupid faces)

A mate of mine once put a pinch of grass in with the fish. They hovered mid-tank for a while and a couple even swam on their sides and one was freaked out and swimming upside down. All recovered physically within 24 hours.
