am looking to find out which frequencies the mobile radar traps operate at.
Basically I have an origin B2 but am looking to supplement it with a euro 550 or similar detector.
I was hoping to disable the X and K bands which provide 90% of fasle alarms, but will only do this if the mobile gatsos (min gatsos are Ku band) don't oprate on these frequencies.
the only way of finding out is to ask people who use them.

lol, famous last words.
I have a laser jammer and a origin b2. The only ones that get past me are the Ku band and Ka band mini gatsos which do not use laser.
These are the same ones which have caught my sister recently and a few good friends.
The only way to detect them is to use old technology. Move with the times at your own risk, just don't forget your routes!

I use to use a bel990i with my Origin B2 up until recently when it died and i found the mini Gatso's Essex Police used were on K band same as normal Gatso's though recently i have only seen Essex Mobile Traps using Laser normally from a badly marked old Transit parked out of sight with the laser hand held away from it on a long lead so as to only show a man in a white shirt and black trousers no hat looking at you until you are closer enough to see his laser gun up against his eye.
Of course this is all reasonable behaviour? well they think so.
