Can you still get Ringoes?
You remember, the hoopy crispy things...
The cheese and onion was likened to old ladies tights by a friend of mine at school (don't know how he knew) and the salt and vinegar would leave you in tears.....
Lovely things, fancy a bag right now...

Yeah, you can get decent onion rings in a Spar but the texture is all wrong, ringos had smaller, finer grains that were a bit more compressed and just melted on your tongue <pauses to wipe drool on back of hand> and the flavours were very pungent.
I do like the odd streaky bacon thing too but most of them are a bit puffed up these days, you have to track down the original Frazzles...

they carried on with ringos for a while but changed the 'design' and rather than 'flat' they became rounded if you know what I mean
flavour changed too- but maybe you guys are just too young to remember that
