thought it was illegal to impersonate a copper. OK they cant exactly arrest a scarecrow but the woman is causing a nuisance to a certain extent and should be held responsible for this and should end up in a little bit of touble

Impersonation of a Police Officer is an offence. As said though, how do you nick a dummy?
Hopefully someone will just drive into the bloody thing, or just set it on fire, push it against the old cow's door and hopefully rid the world of the busy-body.

Stupid old bag. Someone should stick a bat up her nightdress.
She should be prosecuted like the old boy in Farnborough was for having a sign telling people to slow down.

I reckon it was a secret government trial to see if they could get away with scrapping the Police force and sticking a dummy on street corners instead. I am sure that will really put the fear of god up the local chavs

is credited with a big fall in the number of speeding cars in Middleton-in-Teesdale, by her owner.

"Durham Police, which only operates mobile speed cameras, accepted the funny side of the new recruit, but warned Mrs Anderson she could be in trouble with the law if Pc Nancy caused an accident."
So on that basis if a real police officer causes a crash by standing at the road side with a speed camera they'll be in trouble...
That's one way to get out off a ticket. See a copper. Then drive into something!

But Durham Police have warned Mrs Anderson she could be in trouble with the law if Pc Nancy caused an accident.
So when a proper copper stands at the side of a road with a speed gun there are accidents??? hmmmm i thought they were supposed to stop that, will they soon be badged as "Unsafety Camaras"
