Due South
Hi, have u guys heard of a series called Due South "Canadian Mountie Benton Fraser comes to Chicago in pursuit of his father's killer, and is assigned to the Chicago Consulate in the position of R.C.M.P. (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) Deputy Liaison Officer.
He teams up with Det. Ray Vecchio and they have plenty of success cleaning up crime in Chicago; Vecchio by pointing guns at people, Fraser by following scent trails and helping old ladies cross roads."
DUE SOUTH
Well for those that enjoyed the series u can but the first two seasons on DVD from Amazon (each season consists of 3 DVDs double sided -4 episodes per one side of DVD), Season 3 is comming out next year in May.
Just thought that i would let u guys n gals know....as i realy love Due South as would even go so far as to say that i would like to be a Mountie for the RMCP in Canada, but i think that u have to be Canadian...oh well. It is a realy good program and is very funny for all the family to enjoy.

Must say I'm a bit of a fan of Due South, and no, nothing to do with me being in Canada.
The music is rather good, and Paul Gross is a pretty good actor ("Men with brooms" and "Slings and Arrows" being two recent Paul Gross film/series, both rather good)
Deif is just class as a deaf, junk food loving wolf
The change of actor for Ray was interesting and the final explanation was good too.
I kinda equate the quirky nature of DS to Northern Exposure, which was great, but somewhat odd in places (Adam was a great character though!)

I seem to recall ray was working undercover, exposing some arms dealer or something. They had to have a Vecchio at the station so people were not suspicious of a lack of a Vechhio.
Seem to remember that Ben got a postcard or something and it had something written on it, and I think when it was burnt or something it showed a picture of Ben and Ray.
Vauge? yes, but it's been a while since I've seen those episodes.
