I am looking into going racing on the long tracks but I am not sure of what formulas are about etc.

I have been racing on the short ovals for few years but getting fed up with all the damage and the lack of half decent tracks.

Some formulas I have seen are the hot hatch championship, also fiesta racing and there was some sort of clio racing (not the clio sport, half touring car type beasts) that I have seen, well few cars for sale.

Anyone race or raced in any of the above? Or any other championship and could pass on their comments/advice?

I'm guessing I would have upto 5K to spend on a car.
