Yes I have had mine since December 2003, superb camera, sometime it takes a while to store the image but other than that its great, i wish they had put the bigger optical zoom on it like the lower spec cameras are getting i.e. the x10. The image quality is superb and if you really crank it up to its highest setting the pictures are outstanding, i have had many effective 12mpixel images enlarged to a4 and above, they are great.
I have also got a nikon d70 and that is another slight step up from the fuki, but overal I am impressed with it, i would rate it 8/10 so far..

I use a wide angle and optical lens for mine. Just fits on using the fuji adapter ring. Makes it 55mm so you can put filters on and things.
Quite a few adapters on ebay
http://search.ebay.co.uk/s7000_W0QQm...sortpropertyZ1
If anyone uses photoshop with one of these then I have some actions that can solve any noise issues that I can put up for download.
YHPM from earlier BTW,

S5000 is a good camera - looked at it whilst looking at the S7000. It is a lower spec in terms of pixels, but a great camera all the same

Heres the link to them actions anyway:
http://www.homeinfo.co.uk/sc/s7000.atn
Just put it in Plug-Ins > Adobe Photoshop Only > Automate
in the programme folder
Then select the Actions panel in Photoshop, then click the triangle in the top right hand corner, select "Load actions" and navigate to the file and click open,
Once installed you can have four levels of noise correction, just click play on any one of them with an image open and sit back as it fixes the image for you
Edit to say they should work with your s6900 too
(and possibly the 5000 dependant on how similar the output is)

The s5500 is already out at some shops, supposed to be quite good.
I looked at the 5000 first, but there are a couple of really restrictive things on it. One of the main things between the 5 and 7 for me was the ability to zoom in on the LCD to get perfect focus, this can't be done in the 5000 viewfinder but it can on the 7000. There were a couple of other tiny little things but they would have bugged me long term.
Also once you plump for a prosumer-type camera you start to want to be able to do more and more technologically, eventually you will feel restricted by it and want to go full SLR. I am hankering after a 1D now as I want full lens control. I won't be switching over for a year or so, but the thought is there.
You can also pick up the s7000 pretty cheap in a few places at the moment. I would save a little longer and go for it

Been searching for prices, what websites do you rate?
Has anyone found somewhere selling them cheap? Cheapest so far is Ebuyer.com at £331 but I really want to find somewhere thats doing a good package, ie, bigger memory card, rechargable batteries, etc.
Cheers
