For some reason, our local paper (in the UK) this week has a house in Kissimmee (nr. Orlando), FL. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, south-facing pool. £122k
You can't buy a 1-bed house round our way for that!

The only problem is I can imagine some bad *** dudes from NYC taking a speed boat across the lake and coming to visit me in the middle of the night, killing the girlfriend and raping me (or the other way round).
Get a lot over there for your money though.

Prices of 'real estate' seem to vary wildly from state to state. California for example is *really* expensive. $700,000 for a two bed apartment. Sound familiar?
