Default Chelmsford 123

Does anyone remember this late 80's sitcom set as per title?

It stared Jimmy Mulville & Rory McGrath and I seem to remember it very funny (this could be with rose tinted specs )

Its a shame UK gold/Granada hasnt seen fit to repeat it yet.

I remember it. Neil Pearson in the silliest mustache in the western world in the days before he became a "serious actor" and some of the oldest jokes in the world:

"They call me Mungo the forgetful."
"Why's that?"
"Why's what?"

Not to mention Dopey the Frog.....

One of the best comedy series I can remember.

One of the few I used to watch religiously.

I remember that. It should go down in the annals of history, probably the last sitcom granada broadcast that was actually funny

The reason it doesn't get repeated is probably connected to Mulville & McGrath (also owners of the production company) having a large and bitter falling out

seems a few people want to see it again, it looks like the copyright is retained by Hat Trick - I wonder if its worth sending an email?

Surely it was Hat Trick's second production (not first as shown on the link)? AFAIK "Who Dares Wins" was credited as a Hat Trick Production and that came first. And who can remember that?

"And later in the program we'll be discussing Gareth Hunt: Actor or rhyming slang?"
