Imports from USA - duty/vat threshold?
Thinking about getting a few bits and bobs posted from the States. I know there is a threshold below which the VAT/Duty seem to let things pass without any charges. Anyone have any idea what that may be? I seem to recall it is around about 40 usd????

Andy is correct, if shipping final cap is just over £18 excluding Shipping costs.

Saying that, I know loads of people that have 'risked it' and have not paid any charges at all on items over £500. Its a bit of a risk but for them it paid off.
