Last week, I was out with the Mrs. A maroon Omega was behind me with HID dips on (it was dull, spotting with rain, but not bad visibility).

One of his lights was very high and annoying in the mirror.

I tried slowing to get him to pass, and then blocking the mirror etc, (no rude signs), to show him, but no dice.

Finally, I flashed my rear fogs at him a few times.

Just as I did so, we came up to a roadworks with traffic lights on red, and next thing I know he's got flashing blues behind the grille and a chirp of the two-tones.

He got ouit and asked me if I had a problem with my foglights. I replied that I hadn't, but did have a problem with his headlights!

He said it was impossible for them to dazzle me as they were automatically levelled, but I insisted, and he then went for a look at them.

Just then, the lights changed so I drove on.

I haven't heard owt, and they never came after me, so am I in the clear?

You should have made an official complaint. Politely flashing your fogs to a car that's dazzling you is hardly an offence. BTW if you have your wipers on, you should also have your lights on (advance driving stuff).

The two guys in it looked more like American SWAT cops than ours, and the one in the passenger seat had long hair, was unshaven, and was slumped right down in the seat.
Very odd.
