Default How About a Nice Aerial Picture of Your Postcode Area?

I thought this was quite good not seen it before. Just seems like one of those "What technology can do today" sort of things, that suprises me every now and then.
Anyway here's the link http://www1.getmapping.com/advanceds...p?productID=16
Just type in your postcode or street name. The initial view is of a map. Just click on the camera icon and voila you'll see the aerial image of the house you had your first **** in, your place of work etc etc.

But then nobody would bother buying from the company - they'd just print their own.

We bought one of these thru the Daily Mail or some such paper a few yeras ago. Trouble was, the photo had been taken late in the evening , so the shadows were long, and since we are surrounded by huge Yew trees, our house was hardly discernable. As someone above also said, they take them from up in the stratosphere.... talk about miniature houses !

Hmmm not cheap are they? I recently did a flying lesson for £70 and flew over our house and got my own aerial pics and had fun too!
