"Delicate" question
Hello
This is a strange question! My wife is Polish, and we have a four year old daughter. Up until now we have always referred to my daughters 'bits' by the quite sweet Polish diminutive word. Now my daughter is starting to ask what the English word is. And I haven't a clue. Obviously there is the proper word, but I don't think that is appropriate for a four year old.
Can anyone tell me what they say to their daughters?
(note: Of course if it was a boy, there would be a huge long list!!)
Thanks for your help.
Steve.

if in doubt try the truth??
My 4 year old boy knows he's got a *****, and know's I've got one.
He's having difficulty with the wife's "furry love tunnel" though
Actually I don't envy you having a girl. What is the word for a vagina when you are 4 ??

That's exactly it, I KNOW I have a ***** and would be quite happy to tell everyone about it. Although now that I'm married, I have less opportunity these days.
But for girls it's different, there really doesn't seem to be a pleasant name. Although 'flower' is quite nice in an 18th century kind of way.

Friend of mine used to call it "gadget" when she was a lot younger. I think she misheard "vagina". Maybe. LOL
Personally I never asked what it was called, or at least can't remember asking for its name....and I can't honestly remember what my mum called it when we were younger...
I know for a boy it was a "*****" but for a girl.... :S
Probably best just to call it a vagina, to be honest.
Neighbour of ours has a 9 year old son, who has learning difficulties. He was learning those words and heard someone call it a "*****". So he comes home and asks his mum if she has a *****. She says yes and he asks what it is....so she points to the family pet cat and says "Dilly".
ETA : Steve has just said that when little he called it "beanie" or "noo-noo". Wonder if the Tellytubbies knew that when they named their hoover......

Puff
AFAIK medical peeps refer to the "front bottom" and the "back bottom"... my girlie is 6 years old and this is what we have chosen and what I have always used.
Mind you I am 44 years old so things might have changed !!
