What a lovely summer it has been so far. Endless hot & balmy sunny days, heatwaves, droughts, etc.
Sweltering.

<smug>Depends on where you are, doesn't it? </smug>

Talk about "the grass is always greener". It is on your side of the fence, ours is dead. And I'd like to paint the house at the weekend, but can't as it's not nice to be up a ladder in direct sunshine and 36 degC.

I bet it's better than being up a ladder in a force 5 gale with horizontal stir rod rain and 14 deg celsius!!!
