Default What's lighter....

What's lighter:

A stripped out car with a roll cage

A standard car.

Say a e36 M3 Evo or something.

Its a big old structure. Made out of metal that can withstand...well...err....being rolled.

depends on the construction of the cage really - make it from railway steel and it will probably be heavier than the car anyway - something modern made from exotic metal and reinforced carbon with go faster stripes whould probably weigh about the same as a fart (fairly solid fart mind you )
