Default New Phone time (for my daughter)

My daughter has a Nokia 3410, she's had it for around two years and its looking very sad.

I promised i would buy her a new phone for her birthday (well early present as she has done really well in her exams)

Shes been on PAYG for the last two years and its about time she took responsibility for her call times

Is there any good deals out there. Primarily i'd just like to pay a one off lump sum at the start of a 12 month contract for the phone and rental. I believe the phone must have a camera on it and be smallish.

I understand that kids dont talk any more they just text each other, so i would imagine a phone contract that has an element of free texts and a certain amount of off peak minutes FOC.

Anyone heard of any good deals around. I'm not up to speed on phones as they are a pet hate of mine. My company just gives me a phone and installs a car kit and thats the most i know about them

Cheers in advance

Buzzer,
my missus is on Vodafone, she gets 600mins free evenings & weekends to any landlines + other voda users and also 250 free txt a month (that she'll like) the phone she got was the Samsung V200 with swivel camera and it's £15.99 a month (i think) and u can pay the line rental all in one go so all u pay for are the calls

Also F.Y.I. the V200 doesn't work after it's been in the washer as my daft better half will tell you.

Try contacting jaycee or go to his website (which is advertised on s/n).

He knows everything about phones and deals.

No from Singlpoint and it was a new deal

and no its not water proof oh insurance is about £7 a month rip off when u read all the "if u lose ur phone here its not covered" don't buy it, check to see if ur home insurance covers it, i've just been told by mine that for £5 a month i could fully insure it................no im not going to put in a false claim either

My bank account (tsb select) cover two phones at a time so that should be okay.
