yep. I agree it was great but only for the novelty factor. SLK what a grunt that has got.
Got to Oxford Circus (And it was one - a Circus that is!) for 6pm. Soooo many people.
Walked down a parallel road to Regent Street and cut in about half way down. only about 8 people deep there. Did manage to see bits and pieces (sounded wicked).
I was at Goodwood FOS the other weekend for 3 days (Soapbox entrant with company), to be honest much better as you can actually see the F1 cars even if you are not at the front.
Would be good if we did have a Monaco, but I doubt it!

Just read my own reply, didn't mean to put a downer on your day. I had a great day myself. Lots of people (the stupid general public) tend to annoy me!
I suppose I haven't got over that experience yet!!

I went and got a spot right at the front (leaning on the barrier) right outside 'Libertys' but was waiting from just before 3pm
Thought it was a brilliant spectacle, worth the trip.
Matt
P.S Anyone see the girl flashing on the balcony?

They said that they might do it again next year, but I doubt I'll be going again next year. I could hardly walk after standing there for so long. What worried me more is the fact that I didn't see any police. Only those useless crowd safety people. Imagine if someone had actually walked into the middle of all that with a bomb.

I walked away as it was fecking chaos with people been crushed etc. I had a good view (2nd row on corner of Jermyn Street) until the retarded security staff let a whole bunch of people in front of us.
Seen as I'm going to th F1 test day at Silverstone, there was no point staying.
