Oh My.... Oh My....used to get lots of these little bu$$ers when I was a mite....... flaming annoying. Used to wait til they were ripe then bathe them with cotton wool soaked in boiling water and bicarb...... OUCH ! Eyes are watering now in memory. The docs MUST have some treatment for them these days tho'. Good luck

Any chemist/pharmacy will sell you some ointment for it. I used to use "Golden Eye Ointment" as a kid.
Funnily enough, when you feel one coming on, rubbing it with a wedding ring helps............don't laugh, it really works! The higher Karat the gold, the better it works.
