Anyone got this safe speed option?? Sounds great (especially for the price) but just wondered if it was any good?

I have the safe speed option as part of Smartnav. Only had it about a month but so far so good. It gives a worning at about 400m and again at 200m. If you are travelling over the speed limit, it gives a continuous warning (very useful). It only warns against fixed cameras and is only updated once a month.

Does it pick up every camera, or just the active ones?? There are loads by me that are inactive and it would really annoy me if it beeped at me all the time

are they inactive all the time? would you trust that they wont change that in the near future?

WHY

I've got the safe speed on the RACTrackstar, very good

3 Beeps @ approx 150 mtrs
5 beeps @ approx 75 mtrs
after that continual beeping if you are going over the speed limit,
Only beeps if its pointing the way you are travelling

I do slow down for them (even though i have never seen them go off in 4 years) but the beeping would get on my ****
