can you get done by a gatso from the front?
just been to the jim clark rally and on the way back we passed a normal gatso (not a truvelo) on the other side of the road and it flashed my mates car.We werent going at any speed but it just decided to flash him.Has anyone else had this happen to thenm before? I thought the normal gatso cameras only flashed on the side of the road you are driving on.My mate is papping himself now,do you think he has been done?

I done the same mate ,once on the road down and once on the way back up,the camera was on the opposite side of the road facing me and i was only doing about 75 mph on a long straight and it flashed once.
They can't do you for this,he has nothing to worry about!

Thanks lads for the reply,we both noticed it only flashed the once,but it just gets you going a bit as to why it fashed in the first place and is he going to get points for no reason.I would not put it past them to try.

No you can't get done face on. I regularly get flashes from my local cameras, face on. I try to time it so there is someone coming the other way who is in the "zone", just for fun. Need to do 45mph to set them off. This is in a 30 btw.
