as we all know, mods bombed around on their peds and rockers on their bikes.

but what about car drivers of the day?
my dad and his mate went around in spitfire and mini causing havoc round Doncaster with a load of his mates in MGs and minis etc, driving from the salutation to the airport club at silly speeds. (well in those days)

so there was mods, rockers and ........................... car drivers ?

also, why would a mod reckon he could take on a rocker? rockers we ace and had faster bikes.

The real ace faces of the mod era had black mini coopers. Not your average joe with a parka and vespa.

Rockers were, and always will be just greasers with no style.

My dad and my uncle got some stick of a load of Mods in a pub, my dad had a Bedford van and after getting a few slaps for thir trouble (in work gear looking a bit greasy, hence they must be Rockers, they had actually been working on the van), they left the pub got in the van and scattered an assortment of Vespa's and Lambrettas in all directions with the van, ironic as they had more mod than rocker tendencies.
