Question Removing a private plate

How do i go about putting one back on retention?

i.e do i need to get a form ?

Yes you need a form.

You will have to ring DVLA,and they will send you one

you can also go to your nearest licencing office and get a replacement
number and retention while you wait.
should only take thirty minutes depending on length of queue.

yes
i think 80 pounds
cant rearly remember but info on dvla web site
add cost of number plates 25ish
if done by post to dvla can take up to 4 weeks
depends if you have a buyer waiting

Don't forget you have to get your Tax Disc Altered too....

105 to put it on rentention.
25 per year after the first yr

They will issue you with a relplacement tax disc and V5, and stamp the MOT for you.
V5 takes about a week to get sent back to you

Far quicker to go to a dvla office in person by the way
