He talking about a 911 Turbo S, the 'S' being the important bit. This was a run-out version of the 993 turbo with a slightly higher power output, and was only available circa 1997.
Porsche are also doing the same trick with the run-out 996 Turbo, having just released a new Turbo S version with 450hp.
