Electric Fence. Warning!
On the cat thread I posted I had an Electric fence protecting a garden pond.
It is a very expensive and safe bit of kit which i designed myself being a fully qualified electrical engineer. The power supplies current limiting system is certified by the HSE itself.
The fence serves not only as protection to the pond stock of fish and frogs but also prevents accidental death of wildlife such as hedgehogs drowning in the water. It is not harmfull to humans, pets or wildlife, it will tingle and startle.
On the last post of the thread a man had put together an electric fence and had killed a cat. It could have been a lot more serious as well he could have killed a child.
I never suggested anyone should copy me or mess about with electricity like some have hinted. You could end up killing someone, even yourself.
The thread was locked before I had chance to post this.
Thanks for listening,
Lee
