Parking ticket dilemna.
Any parking ticket gurus out there? Earlier today I got a parking ticket which I intend to appeal against on the basis that I had to park on double yellows as close to the gunsmiths as possible - I didn't fancy carrying a shot gun through town (even in a cover) as you can just imagine what the curtain twitchers would do.
The other issue concerns the registration that was entered on the ticket, it was incorrect as the last letter was entered as 'S' instead of 'Z' so should I not bother with it as they can't trace me?
Over to you...

Hello
The fact that you had to park on double yellows means you should get a parking ticket I'm afraid. I don't think that they would be sympathetic about the gun.
However, if the registration number is wrong, just completely ignore the ticket. It happened to me and I haven't heard anything a year later.
Steve.

you'll remember Hungerford so you can just imagine how plod would react. It was bad enough that I'd forgotten my licence so if I'd been stopped they'd have loved it. Just imagine, a Scoob with a gun toting scally in it.
