Question Goodwood FoS Friday travelling advice???

Going to the FoS on Friday 25th and thinking of driving. Any FoS regulars advise me on what the traffic's going to be like. I've heard it can get pretty bad? Any routes or advice suggested would be greatly appreciated .

I'll be travelling from Sandhurst at about 6.30am so should get there before the worst of the traffic.

You might miss the worst of it at that time but I wouldn't hold your breathe, best thing is it will be all ticket this year on all days.

Easiest way I found is longer but less of a pain, is straight down the A3 to the A27, then east to Chichester, and follow the signs from there, much nicer than the cross country route over back roads that they sign post for you to use from the North.

Remember the majority of people going to Goodwood are coming from a northerly direction, so those routes are likely to have the longer queues.

Reffro,

Cheers for the A3 suggestion mate, thought that might be the case.
