uPVC Sofets and Guttering...how much?
We're having the guttering and wooden sofets on the house replaced with uPVC.
Now, how much has it cost people on SN to do the same on their house...
Our house is a fairly simple average 4 bedroom detached house, 2 gables either side, straight guttering across the width of the house front and back. I don't have the measurements at hand, but I'll post them when I find them.
We've been quoted £2800 for it! Is that right or are they having a laugh?
So, how much has the quotes or cost been for anyone with a similar sized detached house??

It supposed to be 10mm solid upvc, and they said they'll use stainless steel screws (no rust marks), and fit drip trays from the tiles to the guttering too.
It's the Midlands area, so I suppose it would cost even more round London It seems surprising that there are quite few decent companies round here. By that I mean I call them, and they don't bother turning up to give a quote, or if they do turn up, they say they'll phone back with the quote - and they never got back touch.
Perhaps I scare them off!
So far only had one company that's good to their word. Unfortunately they used pushy sales techniques. He did back down when he realised it wasn't going to work though.
