Where about are you? I did mine about 4 years ago - got the training from my sailing club for free so I could drive safety boats. Got the principal of the sailing school at our marina to do the assessment (also for free!). The sailing school do pretty good L2 courses - I know most of the instructors and they're good.
Not much good if you don't live in Scotland though! Port Edgar

sorry forgot to say am in the south east but as its over a weekend I would not mind traveling.
What sort of sailing do you do GM? I really like windsurfing tho I also sail esp enjoy Hobie 15's Dart 16's but do also enjoy sailing/racing lasers - not to a very high level tho!
I want to do the course to be able to do safety boat work, have you done your RYA safety boat as well? There is so many courses from the RYA its impossible to do all you want! - So expensive as well!
Cheers

Mainly sail a Stealth cat but still have a Laser eps that I ought to get round to selling. Haven't done the Safety Boat course yet but when you've been rescued as much as I have you pick things up...

I done mine in eastbourne, a couple of years ago and for the life of me cant remember the name of the place.
It was something like Sovereign Marine Training, it was very reasonable and the guys were very good. they had a couple of jetski's there as well that we got to have a go on.
they are based on the harbour by the sailing club.
If its any help im sure i can dig out the info for them.
regards
Steve
