Where are the best deals right now other than buying outside the UK?

If you know someone in the US, get them to buy it for you and post across - I saved £100 on a 40Gb one doing it this way.........

How? My phone is always next to my pod and mostly right next to it when I'm at work.

Again, this is the cheapest place in the UK currently for buying an iPod. You will not find one cheaper than this unless you buy from the states

Prices may drop when the next gen iPod makes the stores but that won't be for months yet and the mini is a new line so this won't affect pricing at all.

BTW the mini's are ace

Nope, thats what iRiver would like you to think though. Thats why they put the "i" in front to make it sound like its actually any good

The iPod was entirely made by Apple full stop.

Although, Hewlett Packard this year are releasing an iPod in their colours, still following the Apple design and form, just a different colour. This will be made, packaged and distributed from Apple but will be branded HP.
