Question Anyone use the M11/M25 Junction

Just wondering what the best method of getting on the M1 in the morning from the east of london using the North Circ, i have the option of using M11 then M25 joining the M1 or straight on the North Circ and then onto the M1. It will have to be during rush hour - 8.30 ish so must try to avoid the worst of jams.

i do a similar journey, albeit earleir than you. wheabouts in east london are you?

the M25 is a bit of a lottery at that time of day, can be slow but moving or can be stationary. the north circ is guaranteed stationary as soon as you get to green lanes junction (rather about 1/2 a mile before there, when you get to the end of the traffic jam). there are various back road options available, but you need to know your way around and often they work out no quicker in any case.

i see .

i'm in walthamstow . are you heading north on the M1? if so, i would say that your best bet is to leave an hour earlier and use the M25. however there will be days when some clown has stacked his transit and it will take forever.

i honestly think the M25 will be quickest. it may not matter that much what time you leave at. some days it's blocked up at 0630, other days it's blocked up an 1030.
