Local traders parked illegally......what to do?
It's the same two, and they do it ALL the time, park on a yellow, just outside their shops, and NEVER seem to get a ticket.
I wouldn't care, but the cars they drive, (Range Rover, XKR, Merc Off-roader, all with personal plates) show that they COULD afford the parking charges like the rest of have to.
Leave a car more than the regulation hour in this town, and you get a ticket.
Park over the lines of a bay, and you get a ticket.
So what would YOU do?

As the police thought I was accussing the Traffic Warden of accepting bribes they turned up faster than you can "jack Rabbit"! This was a bit of a suprise to me.
The situation now is that the Traffic Wardens don't ticket their cars as they have to wait before issuing the ticket, whereas the Police Community Support Officers do ticket them.

Are the cars parked completely on the pavement by the yellows??
As it is a different offence, under some authorities wardens can't ticket them. Instead they have to report the car to be towed.
It was a very handy tradesmans secret when I was a man with a van working on-site
