Default House of Commons outrage!

PM hit in Purple Powder attack ...

SkyNews

If our leaders can so easily be attacked ...
The perpetrators had to have been signed into the gallery by a peer.

"Two men were then led away shouting inaudible protests."

Did they throw it from the Whispering Gallery then?

Seriously, that is a mind-numbing security embarrassment.

Was in Worcester recently (28th April) and saw a Fathers 4 Justice protest, they were in radiation suits and climbing over the court house with T.V crews there, protest on the street etc. Looked very organised for a group who I'm guessing aren't particulary well known?

Is security at places like House of Commons really that bad or is a lot of careful planning which allows people in? I know security should be water tight at places like that but I wonder how bad it can be?

Totally agree with you.

But he wasn't employed to be an egg dodger.
Pain has a wonderful way of provoking that kind of reaction though.

Even if he had ignored it, he still has not endeared himself to us.

The way we [voters] can truly express our opinion is on the ballot form.
Not many governments have been particularly bothered with us until election time and then they get amnesia once they're in. IMHO of course.

if someone threw an egg at me i would probably react in the same way, its shocking to think that someone can get that close to our PM and throw a flour bomb thing at them. Wouldn't have been so lucky if it had been a grenade thrown by a terrorist.

I think Tony B has had alot of **** to put up with and not just for consequences of his actions over the iraq conflict etc. This country was left in a mess from the previous party leaders, TB just hasn't cleared that mess up effectively and in some cases made some more!. Don't think I could handle his job, trust me anyone who was in the uk illegally would be out no questions asked.

This country has gone too soft, but what can you when the judges and lawyers just let people off. The police in some cases risk their lives to catch some criminals only for them to be let off by the judges.

I'd sack the f**cking lot of them and start again.

yep i think i would last all of a day as PM.

mr flibble,,,

isnt it our elected gov who sets the laws and sentencing ????

as a divorced parent with kids, i know just how unfair the law is....not to mention the gov who axed 3 benefits relating to children and maintenance...

when questioned on how long the replacement would take to impement

answer 2 years!!!!!

question " what do i do in the meantime??"

answer " tough, you voted them in, if you dont like it write to them"

i didnt vote them in and never would....

so for 2 years i lost out big time...... and the ex.... every sodding tax break under the sun... and a fulltime wage to boot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

june 10th cant wait!!!!
