What to do in Newcastle & York
Going next week for a couple of days in each - and need suggestions for stuff to do.
Please bear in mind the other half is 6 months pregnant so long walks are out, as is going to Metro Centre (been plenty of times!)
Suggestions for places to stay in York also appreciated.
Ta.
PS - would also like to give the new digital camera a workout too.

Head out from Newcastle to Rothbury (40 minutes or so) and the surrounding countryside - wonderful.
From York, I'd visit Stokesley (1 hour), then drive the (in)famous Stokesley-Helmsley road. Top workout for a car, but take it easy.

Go on, delay the trip a few days so you just happen to be in York on monday She'll never guess
What would you rather do, furnish a nursery or watch people thrashing Scoobs to an early grave all day
