Hip replacement or similar? If so, you'll be fine, they have it down to a fine art these days. I will be holding you to reports of the nurses!! All the best.

Good luck mate and hope you have a speedy recovery.
I too had major-ish surgery last Thursday and I'm climbing the walls with boredom!

Thanks to you all for your kind wishes and the laughs as well
I shall probably be too busy protecting my naughty bits to grope the nurses, but I'll grab any chance that might come along
The hip was done some time ago Tel, after I fell off the roof! This time its a bit of a rebuild on the heart. Those ciggies have got a lot to answer for!
They say I should be like a "spring chicken" afterwards so thats alright.
Look forward to joining you again when I get back home.

Well, I waited on the bed yesterday from 6:30am to 2:00 pm only to be told that it was all cancelled because they ran out of time! Big let down after I had worked myself up for the operation. Couldn't be helped but a great disappointment.
Looks like it may be on Tuesday now, hope I don't have to go through all that again.
