If you like steaks then the Top Floor at Smiths of Smithfield is great., £60 may be tight including wine though.

Thumbs up

Le Coq d'Argent at No.1 Poultry. Fantastic and the table d'hote menu with a bottle of plonk should bring you under 60 Sovs.

Cheers
Kav

Cool Marylebone

My favourite without spending lots of money is Caffe Caldesi - the restaurant up on the 1st floor not the Café on the ground floor. Fantastic authentic Italian food and a really good (and good value) wine list.

Should come in under budget so long as you are not too silly with the wine and grappa.

It is on Marylebone Lane and should not be confused with the Caldesi restaurant further down the lane, which is also owned by Giancarlo Caldesi but would deffo be over budget.

Regards

Robin

If you like Thai food Nahm at the Halkin Hotel is superb - it has a michelin star. Might cost a bit more than £60 a head (we spent £145 and I don't drink), but IMO its worth it! You can spend less by going a la carte but the traditional Thai set menu is very good (and you won't leave hungry!)

Club Gasconne in Smithfield. Went there last week with my GF and it was amazing. They will do you a 5 course "tasting menu" with wine with each course and you will leave full (and lashed) for around 60/head - maybe a smidge more if you're doing aperetifs/cognacs/cigars etc.
