Women Driving scoobs
is it just me or is just about every scoob in the north east driven by a woman, for every 1 seen driven by a bloke i see about 4 driven by women
this morning for example seen a mint blue 2 door sti r and yep was driven by a woman
only thing i can put it down to is they belong to there blokes who are currently behind bars or are banned for speeding

Don't see many female drivers round my way but I travel up to the Middlesborough area every now and again (to see the olds)...... and there's loads
While out travelling around the conversation normally goes something like this....
<DDG female spotted driving Scoob>
<I flash, wave, big smile>
Me: Would you look at that, bl$$dy gorgeous!!
Missus: Pah! Typical bloke, I suppose she's your ideal woman? Good looking and drives a Scoob?
Me: Baby I was talking about the CAR

My missus is insured to drive and does to work everyday. I have to drive 150 miles a day so becomes a little expensive (Value for money per £ on insurance though). She loves the firestorm as well

My wife drives mine more than I do, I have to use the company car during the week so she uses it while im away.
she scares the living crap out of me sometimes with how quick she drives in normal mode.

SDW....I had contemplated that one but came to the conclusion that it was a big upheaval (sp?) just to achieve that one thing
I've decided that I'll just wait for LMF to get herself a Scoob again and then just go drive around Cambridgeshire until she puts me in the "Was It You?" section

Re SDW comment about NE women Scooby drivers and the only thing he can put it down to..... words fail me ! I have a sportswagon... hubby a WRX... and I drive both with great enjoyment. Have to say though its amazing how many more waves you get in the WRX against the sportswagon!

Would never consider myself a geordie as not born and bred here... unlike the hubby... born within shouting distance of St James' !... only lucky to live in this part of the world !! The added bonus is having some of the best driving roads in the country on the doorstep.... well some of them...those not spoilt by born again bikers for the rest of us.

The last time I was up north I was coming up to the Stokesley junction on the A19 and there about 5-6 police bikes sitting at the side of the road followed by a Speed camera van sitting on the bridge
Good job I was erm slowing down for the turn off

A favourite haunt of our local friendly constabulary.... better still is the Helmsley-Great Broughton road... loved by all scooby drivers...but unfortunately also by born again bikers who think they can keep up with scoobies over the jumps... big mistake. The police now target the road every bank holiday...
