£65 for 12months... oh thats on my 900cc bike btw!

It is something like £160 for a year on a scoob..

check your current disk (you do have one right?) as it says there, was unchanged from last year I think.

£96 per 6 months, about £185 per 12 from memory.

Ignore anything above, the tax depends on what the fuel the car uses, engine cc/emissions and how old it is.

Tell us that bit and I'll give you the exact amount.

It can also be gratis depending on who's taxing it.

Seeing as the RX-8 is classed as a 2.6 and has sky high emissions, I'm fairly certain you will be screwed either way with your RX-7. Just so you know though, you are looking at £165 for twleve months

shhh i'm argueing with DVLA at the minute as i've supplied them with the evidence they state on all their paperwork you need to confirm a change (reduced) CC namely a headed letter froma garage but they seem to be trying to fob em off but at least i'm having fun making them earn money worst case!!!! Hence why i wanted to check what the definition in relation to this would be as i'm trying to make sure they haven't got anything they can use against me. Currently they've basically said yes we agree your car is 2x654cc but we then x2 under the exhaust emissions directive, which on questioning they cannot say what it is or why it means my car is doubled for no reason......anyway that's another story lol
Si
PS many 7's are registered as 1.3 up till recently
