Default Camcorder advice

Looking for a basic digital camcorder for my sister. Nothing too expensive about 300 quid would be the max. I have looked at things like the Sony DCTRV145. Any others I should look at and what should be avoided. Chris

Try these guys

I'd go for a Sony DHC18, £400 odd quid, but worth the extra.

Thanks Nevetas - might be out of the price range though. Worth a look. Anyone else?

I'm amazed at the choice to be honest. My sister is really looking at something to take some pictures of the kids - nothing too demanding, so I am trying to keep the price down. Sony DCTRV265 also seems to get good reviews (and agood price at £254).
