Tables are pretty standard unless you are paying silly money, best tip is to buy a set of proper weighted ***** for a 6' table from a local snooker shop, they make a huge difference to the shots you can play.

2nd stop my girlfriends dad.
Contact Barry on 0161 797 4052
They are in Bury but can sort one out for you wherever.
He makes most of them himself and has put full sizers in most of the houses of the United squad.
Tell him Andy gave you the number and I'm sure he will be able to sort somthing out for you

make sure your room is big enough (obvious, I know) - minimum of 18 ft x 15 ft for a 6x3 table.........oh, if only we had a room big enough for a full size table.....
snooker doesn't work too well on a 6x3 table - you might be better off getting a reconditioned pool table and getting snooker ***** for that instead (all the colours are the same size as the white so you can keep replacing them)

My wifes uncle is getting rid of his - impulse buy, never really had room.... He's based in Bedford, if you can collect I'm sure he would take an offer.
Mail me your details and I'll send you his.
Richard
(its a slate bed one if that means anything...)

Definitely check the room is big enough, or you'll end up with marks on the wallpaper from the rubber ends on the cues... or ornaments being broken! The snooker table we had was one that rested on a table, and subsequently took ages to ensure it was flat and level. As a kid, I seem to recall finding a use for all those encyclopedias at long last!
Warning on the weighted ***** - yes they are better, but be careful they aren't too big for the table, and hence bounce upwards off the cushions. Can be dangerous when attempting a spectacular u-shot!

(Before anyone asks... in Discovery NOT Scooby LOL)
Barry... what a sound dude
Thanks to everyone else for info and comments - much appreciated.
The lads have been playing for years on a 18" x 9" table... at 9 & 7 yrs theyre now looking a bit ridiculous cuoched down next to it trying to poke the ***** with a tiny little plastic cue
Cheers

Glad you got it sorted mate
Barry is mint, they have been doing the tables for about 30 years so he knows his stuff. I just need a bigger house now so I can fit one of his full size tables in

We've got one of these from the 1930's - but they're still identical today.
