Whoooooooo...
Just nearly had my trousers removed by Unicar in Leeds...
Thought I'd go for a in dash DVD player... new Kenwood KVT-725DVD, was in the shop... looking and thought it looked bang on... price was £1499 nice man says Kenwood are doing a 0% for two years on it... so was thinking Ok around the grand mark I'd have just coughed up the 1k cash but 1500 and over two years then not a bad deal and it keeps the $$$ in my bank not theirs...
Anyhow got home... and just thought I'd check out the price @ Dabs... oooohhhhh my got ripped off or what... £1074 now thats £425 talk about taking the pi$$... rang Unicar just now and politly told them where to stick the finance deal and anything else I was ever going to purchase of them....
Just goes to show how much you need your wits about you now... and also bangs one more nail in the coffin of purchasing from a store... It would have been the first main Item i'd bought from a retail outlet for two years... always buy of the net...
Aaggrrrrrrrrr...
Now going on the credit card 0% @ £1061 deliverd...
Phewww rant over...

Dealers will charge whatever they think the customer will stand, and anyone who doesn't check around, deserves to be done, IMHO.
I just bought two front tyres for the wife's car, 205/60 15's, Michelin Energy.
Initial price quoted: £90 each.
Final price I paid, once I pointed out that I go to France regularly, and can get them for £75 over there: £73.73 each.
Saving: £42.54!!!!!
