Holiday Inn - total ****!
Tried to book a room at the local Holiday Inn for next Saturday (parents down to visit). It came back and said no rooms available. But if I search for Friday and Saturday I get a million and one room options.
When I rang up Holiday Inn direct that said it was policy of all Holiday Inns to only allow Friday and Saturday stays or Saturday and Sunday stays but not Saturday only. Is this a joke?!?
I've heard of this in Las Vegas - but not effing Aylesbury!
Anyone know how I find email address of UK MD?

Also, anyone know any other good hotels in Aylesbury?
Mate, you have had a lucky escape, If you had put your mother and father in a Holiday Inn they would never have spoken to you agian, and more than likely written you out of there will.
As for a good hotel, sorry cant help !

I used to work for HI in Edinburgh. We never ever used that policy!!
The only time we wouldn't allow people to book rooms was when we only had a few left that we kept free for 'walk ins'
